Jurassic Pixel Guides Hub

Jurassic Pixel launched on Roblox on 18 March 2025 as a free-to-play dinosaur survival game. Servers hold up to 50 players online. There is no local split-screen. You spawn small, eat, drink, grow from baby to age 100, and collect DNA on a timer so the shop will sell you something that can actually hold a lake. This hub is the map. Each guide below is a full article, not a recap of this page.

If you just pressed Play, open Getting Started first. If you already know how to walk and you keep dying, skip to How to Survive or How to Play. If the only number you care about is shop DNA, use How to Grind DNA with the DNA calculator. There are no active promo codes as of September 2026, so do not stall in the lobby waiting for a gift that is not in the game.

Getting Started is the first-hour walkthrough: how to join the Roblox experience, how the two free starters differ, how growth and DNA ticks work, and why Chromebook players must click No on the extra prompt or the on-screen buttons never appear.

Both starters are free and both tick 4 DNA when adult. Gallimimus is the omnivore sprinter (run 63, 250 HP, 15 damage, 0 armor, kick plus jump). It is the safer farmer because plants do not fight back. Velociraptor is the pack carnivore (run 42, 250 HP, 45 damage, 15 armor, latch) with Nublar skins Blue, Delta, Charlie, and Echo. Pick Galli if you want a shop animal tonight. Pick raptor only if you have friends in voice and you accept that a solo latch into an adult T-Rex is a donation.

Controls should be open in a second tab until muscle memory kicks in. PC uses WASD and left click to bite. Abilities usually sit on F, with hold-Space variants on animals such as Ceratosaurus chuff. Controllers map abilities to RB/R1 and Y/triangle. Mobile is on-screen buttons plus an auto-drink trick. Laptop swim-up is the most common drowning complaint in the official Discord.

DNA, shops, and unlocks

DNA is the real progression layer. Adult animals gain a listed amount every roughly 30 seconds. While you are still growing, the current tick is about (age / 100) times that gain. Surviving extra days adds +1 gain every 10 days, capped at +10 on day 100, and that day bonus is not multiplied by gamepasses. The +40% and +60% DNA gamepasses stack on base gain only, together about double the listed number.

How to Grind DNA is the route page. The peaceful line is Gallimimus to Triceratops at 3,000 DNA to Brachiosaurus at 7,000 DNA with 20 gain. The combat line is Gallimimus to Carnotaurus or Ceratosaurus at 700, then Spinosaurus at 3,250, then Brachiosaurus. Peak adult Brachio with both gamepasses and the day-100 bonus sits near 50 DNA every 30 seconds, about 6,000 an hour on a private or tiny server. Ranked DNA numbers live on the DNA farm tier list.

Limited shop animals are a different wallet. How to Get Indominus covers Albino Terror (Indominus Rex) and Pitch Black Reaper (Indoraptor). Last listed price for both limited windows was 300,000 DNA. They are frequently offsale. Do not treat a random chat number as a live price. Mosasaurus was removed after sitting at 10,000 DNA, so do not plan a water main around an animal that is gone.

Combat, controls, and survival

Public 50-player servers fill with KOS. How to Play explains the loop you repeat every life: diet, stamina, the red bleed bar versus yellow stamina, class abilities, and the fight-versus-flee call. How to Survive is the practical layer: raptor packs versus apexes, hiding at the map edge while growing, water as Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus tail spin, Triceratops charge versus Therizinosaurus, and why you should assume death is expensive until the community proves adult progress is safe.

If you want fair adult matchups, open the PvP tier list. Roster stats split across carnivores, herbivores, and hybrids. Patch history lives under updates, including Giga and Theri, D-Rex, and skins. Automation is a separate choice with its own risk; if you still want it, start at the scripts hub, then how to execute and autofarm. These guides assume you are playing the client as designed.
